Reformer Pilates Class Levels

RTR Pilates offers a diverse range of Pilates classes to cater to every fitness level and goal.

Beginner

Level 1

Level 1 is the perfect entry point to RTR Pilates and an ideal space to either learn beginner fundamentals or return to the basics. Moving at a slower, foundational pace, this class focuses on form and control with absolutely no standing on the reformer and minimal wrist work. To ensure a safe and supportive workout, your instructor will provide tailored spring changes and exercise modifications to accommodate all fitness levels.

Intermediate

Level 2

Level 2 is a dynamic mixed-level class designed for clients with prior Reformer experience. Bridging the gap between foundational and advanced work, this class introduces standing exercises, higher repetitions, and varied spring tensions to elevate the challenge. While the choreography remains straightforward and gondola poles are used for balance support, you will be given options to scale the intensity up or down. Clients should be comfortable managing their own spring changes and keeping up with a steady class flow, though instructors will always provide modifications to ensure a safe and effective workout.

Advanced

Level 3

Level 3 is our advanced class, designed to push your limits with complex choreography, dynamic movement, and significant balance challenges. Geared toward highly experienced practitioners, spring tensions default to the most challenging appropriate option to maximize intensity. Clients are expected to independently manage their spring changes, keep up with a rigorous flow, and know their personal exercise modifications, though the instructor is always available for guidance and extra support.
