Reformer Pilates Class Levels

RTR Pilates offers a diverse range of Pilates classes to cater to every fitness level and goal.

Level 1
Level 1+

Beginner

Our Level 1 Pilates class is the ideal starting point for newcomers to Pilates and those new to RTR Pilates. Whether you’re entirely new to Pilates or transitioning from a different Pilates studio, this class will acquaint you with our equipment, body positioning, and RTR Pilates-specific terminology.

All clients must begin with a Level 1 class, ensuring a solid foundation and understanding of our approach.

Level 2
Level 2+

Intermediate

Our Level 2 Pilates class is designed for clients ready to build upon the foundational skills acquired in Level 1. Classes move at a faster tempo and assume a basic understanding of cueing and technique.

With minimal breaks, instructors tailor instruction to match the average fitness level of participants, offering modifications for additional challenge or support.

Level 3

Advanced

Our Level 3 Pilates class is designed for those seeking an even more demanding workout. With no breaks between exercises, this class is tailored to advanced clients prepared to modify exercises for any injuries or preexisting conditions. The pace is set for the most advanced participants, with instructors adding more repetitions, adjusting spring weights, and increasing the complexity of exercises to intensify the challenge.

Jumpboard

Experience the fusion of RTR Pilates moves and cardio intervals in our Jumpboard Classes. Cardio bursts are incorporated through activities performed on the jumpboard or through creative instructor-led exercises. Classes alternate between Pilates and cardio segments, ensuring a dynamic and heart-pumping workout. By adding the jumpboard to our reformers, clients experience the signature fusion of RTR.
