Assistant General Manager (studio names)

RTR Pilates is the standard of excellence in contemporary reformer Pilates, serving as the premier boutique studio in the Maryland, DC and Virginia area. The Assistant General Manager will help oversee and support the day-to-day operations of one or two Pilates studios. An integral part of our studios, the AGM will play a crucial role in driving studio growth, fostering an exceptional client experience, and supporting our community. The position will focus on grassroots marketing, membership relations and social media. The AGM will also be responsible for teaching 16 in-person Pilates classes per week.

    • Maintain a positive, cohesive and welcoming environment as the studio grows
  • Studio social media

    Requirements:

    • Fitness teaching experience preferred
    • Social media management
    • Client relations experience
    • Passion for fitness, with a knowledge of industry trends and best practices
    • Flexible on-site work arrangements within the DMV

    Traits & Characteristics:

    • Leadership and Team Management: The AGM should have strong leadership skills to effectively manage and support teams involved in marketing, client relations, and event support. This includes the ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve studio goals.
    • Client Relations Expertise: A key part of the AGM’s role is to foster an exceptional client experience. This requires excellent communication skills, empathy, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
    • Marketing and Social Media Savvy: The AGM should be skilled in grassroots marketing and social media management to drive studio growth and engagement. This includes creating and executing marketing strategies that align with the studio’s vision and values.
    • Passion for Fitness and Teaching: With a requirement to teach 16 in-person Pilates classes per week, the AGM should have a genuine passion for fitness and a solid understanding of industry trends and best practices. This helps in connecting with clients and enhancing their experience.
    • Community and Culture Building: As a Culture Ambassador, the AGM should promote the studio’s core values and create a positive, cohesive, and welcoming environment for both clients and staff. This involves being an advocate for the studio’s vision and fostering a sense of community.
    • Flexibility and Adaptability: The AGM should be adaptable to different work environments and schedules, ensuring they can meet the needs of the studios and clients effectively. This includes being open to new opportunities and challenges as the studio grows.

    Salary & Benefits:

    • $55,000 (up to $71,000 with bonus structure)
    • Bonus structure: monthly revenue share
    • Health Insurance (medical, dental, & vision)
    • 401K
    • PTO 11 days/year, 8 holidays
