Micheon became interested in Pilates while studying Marriage and Family counseling at the University of Nevada, Reno. Pilates helped shape her into an active athlete. The vigorous Pilates workouts improved her mental toughness and physical stamina, while also building her flexibility and core body strength. Today, she is an avid runner and uses Pilates to prevent sport related injuries. As an instructor, she hopes to teach her clients how to harness their mind-body connection and improve their overall physical fitness. When she is not teaching Pilates, she continue to practice Marriage and Family therapy in Mclean, VA, guiding individuals and families through adversity.
